Westcott apollo 28"

Have purchased one of these as i liked the simplicity of them,and the flash position. But it really winds me up when you want to tilt it downwards,as in it is restricted by the slots. My question is is there anything out there to solve this problem,or am i just goint to have to make something myself?

I've got one of these. You don't have to put the sand through the slots, you can put in through the front if you want it to tilt further down.

a cheap boom arm (assuming it doesn't need to carry a lot of weight) would solve the tilting problem.

edit - or C stand with extension arm would be better (but c stands weight a lot).

Hi thank you for your replies, I have just bought a boom arm,the only thing with it as i can see, is if you are limited for room the risk of knocking it, but fine if room isn't an issue. Putting it through the front is certainly an option i will try.
