im looking for somewhere to stay next week for a littke break away. Was thinking Mull but with the Mull rally its hard finding places and places at a decent price. Skye was another thought but before looking is there anywhere you can suggest as a base on the Scottish mainland. Looking at a cottage etc as i will be taking the dogs, must sleep 3 at least and be in a nice scenic part of the country for landscape and possibly wildlife photography. Cheers.
 
I would suggest somewhere in Assynt, Lochinver, Stoer, Raffin or south of Assynt on West coast in Achiltibuie, Shieldaig, Torridon area.
 
We're expecting the remnants of hurricane joaquin by next weekend so I wouldn't bother :runaway:
 
Plockton and Kyle are near Skye but a fair bit cheaper. Many are local Bnbs and may not even appear on line. Lots more accommodation is around Ben Nevis. Availability should be better this time of year.
 
I have a link somewhere for a caravan on Skye that takes dogs, if you want me to find it?
