Good on Hull City - top flight footy here we come!! :)

Great goal by Windass and a fitting goal too - Hull lad born & bred, and at 39, he's testament to the surprises that happen i footy.

Hope we don't go straight down next season but at least we're there.

It was a hell of a goal but what was he doing there on his own unmarked. Bristol City had too many chances that they didn't capitalise on.

Didn't see the match – was out togging – but my Dad phoned me from Hull straight affter the match and said "you HAVE to see Windass's goal" – best he's ever seen in a final like that. It was a corker but as you say, he had acres of space.

Sadly, Hull's record is going to be worse that Derby's if they don't bring in five or six players.

I was chuffed that Hull won it, didn't want City to go up... Havn't seen the goal yet, but will have to search aroung for it! Well done, but as tigerimages said, chances of staying up it seems are pretty slim!

I see it as this; getting up there from the Championship is a lottery to how you do in the following season. Look at Reading*–*awesome first season but relegated this year. It's how the cookie crumbles and I'm sure Hull, Stoke and WBA will all try their hardest not to straight back down. on papoer, WBA are the srongest contenders to stay up because they've been there before and quite possibly have the bigger, more financially secure setup. However, look at Roy Keane and Sunderland. Sunderland was a big team any way but went down and then came back up several times in rceent years. I wouldn't say they've spent big for the season that's just ended, but they managed to stay up and even do better than the majority of their richers rivals.

I'm just proud as hell that Hull are up there and whatever they do next season, I think they'll show a damn sight mor determination, grit and comittment than many of the biggers clubs will who 'expect' to do well each year.
