Went into a charity shop with £15, left with the following? Good haul?

I'm actually planning on plonking one of these lenses onto my 500D. Does anyone know of the crop factor? Whether a 28mm, 55mm or 135mm turns into anything else in the way my 50mm turns into a 80mm with my camera?
A lens is a lens is a lens. The only thing that varies with different sensors is the field of view. A 28mm lens is a 28mm lens be it on a full frame, crop or iphone sensor. All that happens is you see more or less of the image plane (always assuming the lens can throw a big enough circle of light to light the sensor you have).

Impressive!

I've gotcha now! Thanks!

The 55mm does! Neither of the others do though!

On a Canon APS-C multiply by 1.6 for crop factor.

Nice haul! I feel inspired to pop into my local charity shops the next time I pass now. £15 seems a bargain for all that glass.

I've got the adapter in the post, I can't wait to use them! I'm more excited about using the 135mm!

You'll have a lot of fun! The SMC has a slightly better coating than the super Takumar models, but essentially they are the same. The Chinon is very decent from f/4 or so :)

Adapter arrived this morning!

I have to say, in terms of sharpness. In direct sunlight at 5:30pm, the 28mm is the sharpest at F4. Then the 135mm at F4 and coming in third place is the 55mm at F4.

That said, the 55mm is sharper in image comparison compared to any of my other lenses, even though they are only the (sh)kit lens and the nifty fifty 1.8!

I will take some pictures and post them up here for you all to see.

Any suggestions on what I should take pictures of? To show off the sharpness?
