hmm interesting thing about Netto - don't have them in Norwichshire (that I am aware of) however as expected, Aldi and Lidl in the more "deprived" areas of the city and Waitrose in the leafy suburbs. I used to think Waitrose was v expensive, and yes it still is for some things, but also quite competitive for other staple things such as cereal etc.... however I digress.

What did shock me the other day down in the local co-op was the cupboard of doom and death (ciggy cupboard) was open and best part of £9.50 for 20 Marlboro's.... ouch!

Dont think they have them anywhere in the UK any more Lynton, I seem to recall they sold off all their stores several years ago and retreated back to Europe.

Apparently Netto are looking to come back to the UK after the recent success of Aldi/Lidl

Plain packaging wont help reduce the number of people smoking, just as pictures of diseased lungs etc on packaging didnt particularly make me want to stop

Same here. I wanted to collect them all and play Top Trumps. :)

It should be fairy milk. Why change the single finest product they make. It wasn't like they didn't sell in epic quantities as they were.

<stomps feet>
I can't stand their products. To me I rather suck on a sugar cube, it has no resemblance to chocolate at all.

Look into it...you'll be amazed how many Cadbury products aren't Dairy Milk chocolate.

Yes. I know. I even like bournville. Bit I like the Creme eggs the way there were.

They should fix their mistake and they should fix their mistake now.

You sulk about the chocolate, but you're happy to eat that septic pus of a filling?:eek::confused:

I must admit I am rather fond of that too,
And I actually prefer the "Dark" chocolate over the "Milk" chocolate, products.

Milk chocolate all the way. No, seriously.
Best chocolate bar award though goes to "milka tricolade" then followed by "frys orange Creme"
Its been years since I've eaten one (of any flavour) but aren't they wrapped in dark rather than milk Chocolate?

Fry's are dark chocolate, yes :-)

Hmmm I gotta stop off at Tesco's later,
I might just be tempted ;)

Netto are coming back in partnership with sainsburys opened a store in leeds in November, brand never influenced me when I smoked it was the cheapest least offensive that I went for, in food I'm not driven by brands, but there are certain ones that we always buy on preference after trying the own label, such as warbies bread, heinz baked beans and tomato sauce ,

Brown sauce must be HP. Fact.
You can't get "Daddies"any more, or so it seems
So I have no option but to settle for second best :( :p

I'm beyond mere outrage and forum incandescence. I'm going to defect to nestle for my chocolate and ensure my Easter eggs are from nestles or those chocolate orange ones.

I'll be writing to the director of Cadburys and my MP.

My whole years been ruined ;)
