I have it for Cricket, Speedway and F1 so don't want to cancel, but I thought it was possible to change the package via the website without needing to talk to a human. Is it not?

It is for some things like removing HD, but if you want to take of Sports, you have to contact them.

Just keep repeating the same thing to every question does the trick - "No, just remove 'whatever' from the package please."
Followed occasionally by "you do record these conversations don't you, you know the one were I am repeatedly requesting you remove 'whatever' and you're failing to do that aren't you"
