So I've had my cameras confiscated this morning. Turns out it's not protocol for someone to take photographs on their own wedding day! She didn't even like my 'selfie' wedding idea. What's that all about?
 
At a guess, your bride to be would rather you concentrate on the important bit of her special day!

Maybe your fiancé thinks that, just for today, you should be concentrating on her, and not your camera gear (... Aka ... The other big love of your life ...!)

I wish you a lovely day and many happy years together ..... But let someone else do the pics today for once .....

Congrats, have a good day. I took my camera to my own wedding. Had a few too many even before the ceremony and totally forgot how to hold it, let alone use it :D

Thanks guys. All went well except for the one small fact that one of our guests ended up in hospital, but she's okay so all is good.

She tried to wheel herself over a speed hump in the church car park and her wheelchair fell backwards, and she cracked her head on the concrete. Broken collar bone and a fractured skull.

Oh crikey. I wish I hadn't asked now. Most of the wedding->hospital stories are a bit more 'colourful'. I hope she's on the mend and I hope it didn't totally ruin your day.
