As you may/may not recall, I made threats of leaving the country for New Zealand some time ago. Well, it's finally happening! I'm off at the end of this month.

Have been really busy over the last few weeks getting work done and out of the way and getting my affairs in order so haven't had much time to visit the forum lately but I shall be about more when I get over to NZ and will get some photos from down under posted. Really looking forward to heading over there, it's been a long time coming!

Been great meeting some of you over the last few months, and I'm planning to get up to the Lakes for at least one or two days later this month before I go.

lad i used to work with moved out there a couple of years ago , it hasnt been the best ........... , only kidding , he is loving it totally , wish i could do it , have you moved there with a job to go to or not ?? :)
 
A friend of mine moved out there last year after 8 years in the Army. He's loving it. Got a nice little job, which left him loads of time to work on his books (gratuitous plug: It's called Hiyama, a kick-ass graphic novel :thumbs:). He's the happiest he's ever been.
 
Congrats and good luck in your new life. I know how crazy it is, having recently emigrated to Canada myself. Been here 7 months now and loving it, loving it, loving it :D
 
I'm going to Canada this month :D 4 weeks on the plains, and doing the Spruce Meadows show. Gonna be kick-ass.
 
I spent 4 months down there and 1.5 years in Australia, both were fantastic! Where in NZ you going to be living?

Yeah, I spent some time in Australia, which I'm hoping to do again in a couple of years. Fantastic place, loved it. I'm moving to Wellington! Obvious really :)
