Hello, i'm Jacob, 21 from Birmingham
I've always enjoyed taking general photos, i just love how they capture a moment in time. Ive never owned a digital camera though so my photos have always been limited to other peoples cameras and my phone camera.
Ive always wanted to get into cameras properly learn what settings to use to get the best photo and just generally take some shots that i just can never do justice on my phone. Obviously ive always looked at SLR's and drooled but sadly i just couldnt quite make my budget stretch. Not even for a second hand body and lens!
I felt after reading here and several other places that a 'Bridge' camera would be my best option. My budget was still only ~£130 and i couldnt really stretch any more than that so i was still limited to second hand cameras really.
In the end i jumped on a camera i spotted this morning:
Fuji S2000HD Refurbished, 6 months warrenty and 6 months Accidental damage cover?
It comes with an 8GB SDHC Class 6 card, Rechargeable batteries and charger and a Wireless remote.
Its meant to arrive before 1PM tommorow so this post is a little let out for my excitement!
I'm more a lurker than anything on forums normally but id like to participate on the board as much as i can and obviously steal some of your expertise.
