In case you did not know Ross won the UK's best wedding photographer atty the wedding industry awards.

Well done Ross, thoroughly deserved!

I'm not being negative about it. I've never heard of the guy! Is he a member on here? The thread starts off like he's a household name?

It's a pretty good achievement but the opening post reads like we are all supposed to know who this guy is!

There's no link or any other info!
 
He has not long since won it tonight and is now probably getting drunk. He updated his Facebook page and yes he is a member on here.
 
Not looking to be pedantic but you have him winning "the UK's best wedding photographer atty the wedding industry awards". This isn't really accurate as it's an English competition and you have it listed as UK?

Turns out it is just the Wedding Industry awards. My bad. Stop trying to bring this thread down the wrong path like most wedding related threads on here.

What an interesting and unusual style, I like it a lot. Congratulations, well deserved.
 
The OP is a little misleading in that as of yet he has not won the nation award, I hope that he does as he clearly looks after his customers but at this stage he has won the east of england award

They announced last night he had won the National (England) award and we all agree is a great achivement but he has announced he has won the 'Best Photographer in the UK at the 2013 Wedding Industry Awards'.

Still very misleading.

unless there is also a "UK award" then I fail to se how it is misleading.

He's won the national and the regional.

Well done Ross, exceptional photographer
 
TBH Ross deserves to win a lot more than that. I see the whole wedding industry awards things as a bit inward looking and self serving
 
Well.. never heard of Ross, or seen his work, but well done!

Why there's always people willing to belittle the achievement of others when they win an award, or achieve a goal is baffling.
