I'm very happy to find another community of photographers around the world. I'm a Spanish amateur photographer from Seville, and I started shooting with my Zeiss Ikon Contessa LKE in the 1980s. I ended up falling in love with Tessar lenses, but especially with analog, chemical, or film photography. The digital era didn't seduce me, and that's why I continue shooting with Rolleiflex, Yashica Mat, Agfa Solinar, Kiev88, Canon AE-1, Nikon F801, among many others. I apologize in advance, as I'm getting older, so I can't manage to write small posts, so I can sometimes be boring. My English isn't acceptable either, so I rely on a translator. If any word or phrase is strange, I'm sorry. My intention is never to offend. Well, now I'm going to enjoy reading the forum posts; I'm sure there's a lot to learn. Greetings to everyone.

Welcome Emilio, a great intro and your English is far better than my Spanish! Enjoy the forum :)

Hi Emilio, And welcome aboard TP, looking forward to hearing from you and maybe seeing some of your images on the various forums. "Enjoy"

Hola Emilio, glad to have you here. I'm sure there will be plenty to interest you, and our film and conventional section might particularly appeal to you. Quite a few of us have maintained our love of vintage cameras and film photography. Maybe you will join in the challenges, Film Photographer of the Year (monthly) and the New Old Film Photography challenge.

So do you digitise anything & post it online, or do you stay hunkered down in the analogue realm?

Well... it's Google Translate English. Thanks anyway. It also requires some finger work.

Thank you. I'm going to learn how to use the forum first to understand where I can and can't post information and photos. But I'll be posting things and providing feedback soon.

Thanks, Lindsay. I'm going to learn about all the possibilities the forum offers, and I'll definitely be willing to participate in the challenges.

Welcome to the forum Emilio. As Lindsay said, the Film and Conventional section here is active. Like you, I've come to appreciate the 120 year old Tessar design, which was still being used for large format lenses until recently.
