Not sure if this is normal, but for the second day running I have had someone add 10 of my images to their favourites. Cool you might say, but looking at it they have over 50,000 favourites. There seems to be no pattern to which of my photos they add but again clicking through they seem to be favouriting either aircraft or scantily clad ladies.

Anyone else seeing this at the moment?
 
There are all sorts on Flickr..

I almost always go have a look at the photostream of those that comment/favourite, and it sounds like by adding 10 favourites this person has at least encouraged you to go look at their profile. If there's anything creepy or disturbing about someones profile, I must admit that I usually put a block on that account. I have at least one very local oddball that a number of friends have on their block list (we discovered we'd all independently blocked him by sheer coincidence).

The block tool is very useful in this respect.

I'm a bit surprised to find that there are as many as three. There's nowt so strange as folk (as I believe they say in Yorkshire).
 
I had the very same thing happen to me this weekend - out of the blue someone faves 10 images (normally when someone discovers my stream I might get the odd comment or fave or both). Struck me as unusual too.
 
I've had one guy seemingly fav-ing just about everything in my Photostream over the last couple of days. Hundreds of 'em.

Certainly all of my pics of Volkswagens and a vast number of my architectural stuff.

Had a peek and he's got over 53,000 Favourites at the moment.
 
I was quite flattered to discover when someone fav'd an image of mine that in the last 100 pics he'd fav'd mine was the only not of a male member.
 
Maybe these excessive favourites collectors are using their accounts to index sources for image cd's to sell on ebay :lol:
 
I usually block when something like that happens.. always have a look at those that add me as a contact that I dont know.. quite a few of them end up blocked too..

I had strange stats on my account a while back.. had over 1000 views in a day on different images, someone had viewed that many in one day.. they just have got fed up half way thru my stream tho as didnt go all the way ;)
 
Someone once e-mailed me and demanded the "exact" geographic co-ordinates of all my photographs on flickr. As I had about 3,000 on flickr at the time I didn't oblige.
 
Favouriting everything is supposed to increase your "interestingness" and chance of appearing in Explore.

I only fave stuff I really like and I've never had an explore!
