Weird thing happening with windows 7

Have a look in the event log, it might have repaired something.

if you go into windows logs->application and look for the entry with a source of "chkdsk" with a matching date and time of when you ran it.

you should be able to highlight all of the text in the general tab and ctrl+c to copy it. paste it in here and we'll see if it fixed anything :)
 
Hi Neil, just got in. I have done as you asked, but it doesn't show chkdsk.

great stuff :)

just keep an eye on it and any other odd little errors. it might have just been a one off disk error, if stuff keeps being "weird" it could point to a failing disk.
