Weird release cable bug.

Got a release cable for my Nikon D5200.
Went to try it out today and it wouldn't work as a still release. Every time I pressed the shutter button on the release cable it tryed to focus and then started recording video.
Any ideas what's going on?

It's in the 'set up' menu'

You can set the release to work for movie or image. (accessory terminal)

Awesome, I'll take a look when I go home. I forgot that menu section was even there because it is greyed out when nothing is plugged in.
