I know there are a few wedding shooters on here and I'd be interested in what albums you all use. At the moment I have a woman custom make mine and she adds beading to match the colours of the wedding but I'm thinking of expanding my range.

Because I hand over all my images to my album maker and receive the finished product I've never actually made one myself which is what I presume you do when using an off the shelf item such as Spicer Hallfield etc. Is this an easy task and generally how is it done?

I do coffeetable-style books rather than traditional albums, and my clients really love them. They have more of a modern, sort of urban look, and the lack of fussiness suits my style of photography.

Used to use solely Spicer Hallfield. Hated the blue peter bit. Now I'm after a good quality solution, trying a few out.

Coffee table books for us too.... a much greater preference over "Traditional" albums!

spicer,g.e.smith,middlewall for trad albums,
colourworld and photosol for the story book stylee.
albums are pretty easy to build up with a little patience, and dont look cheap n nasty boots the chemist either.
some albums have seperate leaves that slot in and screw up after inserting prints. some have pages which you stick your prints onto.
the photobooks mostly send off your files and back comes your book. we mostly design our own layouts with the software they provide. easy for her indoors who is far more computer literate than me.:shake:

Hacker,

I've not used them myself as a tog yet (you need to send them 8 or so recent wedding pic's to get on there books) but my own wedding album came from Graphi studios and there look amazing!!! They'll either put it together for you or you can send them your layout.

A bit more than coffee table but easy to sell them to people as life time investments as they come laminated they last forever!
