Edit My Images
Yes
I recently did a wedding for some friends and I'm now about to start the editing.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me when it comes to achieving this matte muted film type of style that is so trendy right now in the wedding world..

See examples below, they are not mine, they are from the net.

The basics are really easy... use a curves adjustment, lock the centre point and maybe a point 1/4 way from the bottom of the curve then simply raise the lowest point of the curve straight up to taste, but not too much.

Hi @PauBass

Remember if the above are not your images.......................place links not embed them.......just saying, them's the rules ya know ;)

PS Sorry if I have made a wrong assumption?

No they are not mine, they are examples found on the internet...I have mentioned that on my original post. I will amend it.

Hi

Yes, I see that you have amended the text :) If you are not sure how to edit your post to change the embedded files to hyperlinks..............just "report" your own post and the mods will help you out :)

Am sure the photographer whose website you have created nofolllow links too in this thread would be delighted to help. :D

Once they disavow those links of course.

How about getting back to the OPs original question !

Since your public flogging appears to be over, it's actually really easy to do. You can either use a preset or do it yourself....... Google for free matte presets or just watch a quick YouTube video.

Thank you very much guys....I have now checked a few youtube videos and I'm in the process of working out a prest of my own. Still not sure how to get those muted colours, dark green and strong oranges though.
