Is there a section for Wedding Photography and finding a Wedding Photographer?

I have been severely moderated and criticised by members for putting threads in the wrong section before …. so maybe you could direct me as my eyes are not what they were as we need to find one for July 2015

My daughter and my wife in particularly would have liked to ask some general questions and see samples of work to get ideas and identify a "style" that she wants/like

Is there another forum that deals specifically with wedding photography

It is a Church wedding in early July next year, July 2015, in Winchester, Hampshire - when do you reckon you need to book the photographer?

As a wedding photographer, I would say about now, July is a popular month so the sooner it is done, the more chance you have of getting the photographer you want. If you start a post in the forum linked above, anyone that is available can pm you with links, prices etc and you can show them to your daughter/wife and...well, tbh, leave it with them Probably safest that way

I'd say as soon as possible if you find one who's style you really like...there a few cracking wedding photographers on here that I'm sure cover that kind of area...

To be honest I would have though your daughter would know the kind of style she wanted already, it's more looking for photographers that shoot that style...I think it's quite common for brides to make a Pinterest page of photos/styles they like, has your daughter done this?

The likes of @Yv might well be placed well to offer advise

don't for gods sake let her start reading 'bride' , or you'll need a second mortgage - but yes generally either an old school scrap book or the more hitech pintrest is the way to go (you can also find other brides pintrest pages by following an approriate hashtag)

July next year no later than July this year IMO and as soon as possible.

alternately have a look at some members sites on here - I'd say Yv, Lyndsey D, and ASPhotographyMK for starters (and yes there are loads of others - a scroll through the business section will find mostof the main players)
