Wedding photographer nightmare

most people would be trying to spend as little as possible on photographer and spend more on wedding dress, cake, invitations all the things that disappear but the pictures taken will last for ever usually longer than marriage. The stigma why pay someone £200-300 when i can get someone for £50 whos just as good...... emm yeah right lol

I've copied photos but usually after trying to find out who original photographer was with no success. I think to be fair after a year the copywrite should revert back to person who commisioned wedding photos. After a year photographers usually made all he can and i honestly wouldnt want my photos in anyones hands knowing what can be done with photo manipulation lol

The problem then is that people would simply wait a year before ordering prints. Most people procrastinate that long, anyway.

So, having just read this thread, I am going out to meet the my first wedding couple today - daughter of a friend, and he is loads more of a photographer than me. I am doing it for nothing, it is a fairly small event, and my pants are full already.
Think of me, please....

Deep breath ...... and ...... RELAX! ;)

In his condition relaxing is probably the last thing he wants to do :D

Well, certain parts of my body were not allowed to relax all morning, but here, if I can work out how to do it again, are a couple of shots from the beach..

Fingers crossed - pictures may appear here, or I'll look a fool again..

Looks like I am a fool again - I will try again later to do it again and get it right (rushing out now as it is raining again, and we have the almonds out to dry..

You need to copy/paste the bbcode shown below the image, then you get this:

pxl8 - I have done this before, and for some reason (age, too many drugs, plain stupidity..?) have failed - where are the BB codes - I copied the title below the image (in my gallery) and got a link - can a patient person here remind me where and what the BB code is - I will try and find it meantime...
Cheers,
Steve

Ahhh - ok, I just found it - I was looking in my gallery, and no bb code is displayed, but when I clicked on the image, I got a bb code.
Yes, I am a fool, and an old one - I also expect my computer to know what it is I want it to do...
Sorry, you youngsters..

My proofs of my wedding were left with us for ages - couldn't have scanned them even if we wanted to as both mine had PROOF in hge letters right across the photo!!!

And funnily enough - Mum & Dad found one of their wedding pics the other day (bearing in mind they got married in 75 - had a pic and that also had Proof right across the front of it.

I'll get me coat.....

the guy is clearly an a$%^£. yup he does own the copyright, but as he has a contract with you ( even if verbal) , then i cant see a small claims court finding in his favour. try the solicitor roue first. some even do free first consultations, and if nescesary get a solicitors letter sent. see wha happens after that. sadly taking the cheap option isnt always value for money. i hope this plonker does see sense and does the right thing.

That may be parially true -- if there had been a specific verbal contract. But there wasn't. Sorry, but you can't go into court and say, "He isn't letting me have what he didn't promise and I didn't ask for, and I have no idea what I actually paid for." Doesn't work that way.
