Just flicking through some of our wedding photos, I found these I thought might amuse.
We got married twice in 2008 - firstly our full wedding here in UK and then a local wedding blessing on a beautiful but remote Philippine island where my wife originally comes from.
Now, I love that place dearly but you have to quickly learn that things are done a wee bit differently there...

Yes you did see it correctly! The lighting: A 2000w halogen floodlight nailed to a broom handle
The actual camera used was a film camera (never even crossed my mind it might not be digital!) that was so old it was held together with parcel tape. When the tog needed to change the film, he had to get his roll of parcel tape out again
Surprisingly, the daylight shots came out quite well with only the slightest over exposure on one side of each photo where the tape was a bit see-through.
But as you might imagine, the evening shots with the lighting look like we have just been cornered by a chopper on Americas Dumbest Criminals but then again, what can you expect for £40??!!
The £40 covered the purchase and assembly of above lighting "rig", hire of the camera (yes, it was hired..) and 4 people for the whole day - tog, video tog-ess, lighting guy and a lighting guy's assistant - who's only job was to run around frantically with a very long extension lead looking for places to plug those floodlights in. And they and all the equipment all arrived on the same moped
If anyone wants to see the wedding cars, just let me know
