I'm going to a wedding tomorrow and a few people have asked that i bring my camera along. They have a hired photographer as well. Not sure what to expect plan is to take the following lenses.

35 f2.8
24-70 f4 OSS
70-200 f4 (old FD lens)

Not sure what to expect as its massively different from what i enjoy doing. Part of me is looking forward to something different the other worried i'm going to get nothing out of it enjoyment wise. I prefer long exposures and subjects that don't move. Anyway i will be happy if i get a few that i like.

I certainly wont be getting in his way. Hope he doesn't have a problem with me taking shots as well though. Looking at shots he does he appears to concentrate on the staged stuff mostly so i plan to get the candid stuff, i'm there to enjoy the wedding first, photography second.

Cool. The only thing to watch if he's mainly into set-ups is to make sure that you don't distract his subjects. That can be a real PITA. FWIW I used to deal with it by inviting Uncle Bob to kindly b****r off and shoot candids while I got the posed stuff in the bag. After that, I didn't care a flying one unless he got into my shot
