Wedding album design software for PC?

Hi, i'm very new to the game and wondered if anyone had any advice or recommendation on sofware to help you create a wedding album? I've read many books and they all say about different software they use. I've found websites that you can design them on and they print the final product but i want to be able to create and print for myself!
Any help would be great....many thanks Anne-Marie
 
Adobe Indesgn is good. Not cheap, however.

A lot of the album suppliers supply programs that can help you design, Loxley, for example supply a program called Loxley Designer Pro, which contains a lot of pre-made templates to help you along the way.

If you wanted to do it completely from scratch, Indesign would be my program of choice... Expect £££ and a steep learning curve though!
 
Thanks i shall have a look for that! Do you think it's easier and better for you to design it and let them do the final product? I'm just worried about the quality! But i've read a few other threads about this LOXLEY so they must be worth a look! I'm trying to gather all my info now to build my business....there is SO much to learn!!!
 
There's no way that (certainly when you start) making your own albums will compare to Loxley or someone of similar ilk, as they're producing so many, they are very good at what they do. Plus, it's more hassle making them yourself.

I'm talking about the finishing product, not the design of the album above. You should always design the album yourself, either using their supplied software or doing it from scratch, which ever you prefer.

The quality of Loxley albums is well worth the price... They're not cheap, but they're certainly not the most expensive!
