I am really not sure about the look of my website at the moment - is totally a work in progress & the pages are not completed (like my massive landscape gallery :lol:) but I'd really appreciate any constructive & honest feedback that anyone would care to give at this point as I really need to start sorting it out :bang:

Looks nice.. loads very fast which is good for a photo site

Probably needs an ABOUT type page

Also (could cover this in about) if i was to visit your website looking for a pet photographer or anyhting else.. there doesnt seem to be any indication what part of the WORLD you are based let alone country or county.. You could be in new york or blackpool. it should be one of the first things people see if your looking for clients.
 
Aha, thanks for that Kipax, not even slightly something I'd thought to put in, will sort it out in the about page :bonk:
 
I left you a comment on there ages ago and got no reply. Guess you're busy helping Santa at the moment though ;)
 
Ah, of course email at the North Pole is iffy at best (I'll make sure Santa brings you a sense of humour for Christmas Matt as I know it's what you really want :p)

No idea why I didn't get the comment, have been trying to set up different accounts as I've been getting far too much rude junk mail - What was the comment (nice I hope :lol:)

I know, am really really sorry about that mate, I got given an emergency project in addition to the two books I was working on at the time & didn't wind up getting to bed until 5:30am two nights running (up again at 8am too so was a bit wiped out to say the least)
 
Thats a tall order ;(

I guessed you'd probably been mega busy though, Steve and Mike were making fun of you all day, I had to defend you all by myself. Its a good job you didn't turn up, we were going to throw you in with the lions to make them do something ;)
 
Mike, it's a really nice start, simple as it should be. But you really do need some text in there. Partly, as already mentioned, because people need to know who/what/where you are, but also because people need to get a feel for your personality and how you work.

On the practical side, also remember that your site right now is almost undetectable by google and other search engines. You need text for that (and keep in mind that text on jpegs and in flash aren't recognized).
