Website with Wordpress

Bought a hosting package today and now trying to setup a website using wordpress, so far so good, I have found it is much easier when you read instructions

Just a quick question or recommendation anyway, what is the best gallery plugin/widget to install?

I suppose I mean best/easy for someone not so PC savy, I also noticed that there seems to be 60 gallery plugins and over half of them have top ratings.

Nextgen is good and really easy to use.

Just added that to my wordpress site, sorry to ask as its probably very simple but how do I put the gallery link on the main page "menu"?

If you create a gallery ie upload however many pics then save it. It'll show in the gallery section as gallery 1, then copy and paste the gallery code into the page you want it on, code looks like this ........

[nggallery id=1]

[nggallery id=2]

Depending on the gallery ID that you have made.

This will insert the gallery onto whatever page you put that code on
