Website refresh

Hi folks, would appreciate some feedback on my website after I spent the weekend refreshing it. My old website sat languishing for a year as the software it was built on was so clunky to use. I've moved over to a wordpress based site so would be keen to know what you think. I'm by no means a web builder/designer so be gentle with me although I do work in IT so understand most of the concepts etc.

The site layout seems ok, but I'd probably have gone for more discreet framing for the images, (but I'm not really a fan of "framed" digital images).

I was thinking about using wordpress for my own site - I have a "free" wordpress.com blog and quite like the interface it offers.

Nice site, but all I can think of is why the large blank space at the bottom of each page? Is something going to be there in the future?

Also, where are you hosting the site? It could just be my Internet connection at this time, but on occasion it seems a little... slow to load pages or images.

Also, fonts. How many fonts have you used in total? Maybe try and get the font on the right hand side to be the same as the menu structure at least and see how it looks.

Apart from that, the design and layout is nice.

Thanks, thought I had all the fonts nailed down, obviously not :shrug: Haven't really noticed the space at the bottom but I've been working on small monitors, will check it out, thanks for the feedback.
