Hi, been a long time since I've been on TP, but I'm back!

Anyway, I know this is the same-old-same-old take a look at my website and tell me what you think thing - sorry about that - but here we are anyway:

My website, including a blog, portfolio, collections and a monthly "e-mag" is here:

I'd love you to take a look and give some opinions. I've been experimenting with the e-mag thing as a new way to display my recent work. Would love to know what you think of the general design and usability of my site.

(And any comments on the actual work are always welcomed to).

Right click disabled, so I turned off JavaScript... site basically stopped working, so I left.

Yes, loading times have been a major issue for me and I am working on it. Does anyone have any tips for ways of streamlining performance? Thank you!

Thanks Martyn for your comment. Right-click is disabled to attempt to prevent casual copyright infringement. Obviously it's far from fool-proof, but is at least a road block and helps to partially protect my images. Do you think that perhaps the negatives of blocking right click outweigh the positives though?
 
The main problem is the page size - 6.8Mb - I would try and reduce it by optimising the images for the web in Photoshop.

Also try and reduce the number of images if possible as this will reduce the number of http requests (53 of the 79 http requests are for .jpg and .png files):

Thanks Jez, I've tried to implement some of the suggestions and added caching plugins etc. At least on the home page I think I have managed to cut down loading times significantly, from being slower than 70-80% of all other webpages to now being faster than 40%.
