website name

At 1st glance "gpsutton" looked like "glutton" sorry
Perhaps "garysutton" might be better?
or "garypsutton"
"gpsphotography" works for me as well

problem is some other checky b****r has my name so I'm limited to what i can have, i was think the more simple the better

don't think i can wait that long! haha

Can you folk recommend a good hosting company? i used to use streamline.net.

if you try

www.one.com

I have just bought a domain from them, and I got the first year free.

Its nice simple and fast.

Domain name was registered within 10 minutes and I could upload within 30 mins of completing the forms.

They have some good deals on with there packages just now, and I got 1000Mb of space for around £8.99 a year

I have dozens of domains and a number of websites. Before choosing GoDaddy you might want to read NoDaddy

I have used a number of different companies, and the current (and best) one is Monte Carlo Hosting Their support is excellent. They are a small company: big enough to offer the service you needs but small enough so you get on first name terms with everyone there.

As for the name of your domain, choosing one which is your name is very nice, but unless someone searches under your name for you, it is not much use.

Why not have a few domains? Keep the one you have, and add ones which search engines like, such as (I have no idea if these are taken): www.professional-photography.co.uk or www.wedding-photography.co.uk or www.landscape-photography.co.uk These domain use words which people will actually use when searching.

When I see GPS the first thing in my head is Global Positioning System.

Not sure about others but just a thought.

www.gpsp.com ? lol its hard, gps is global ... and gpsp sounds like some kind of portable playstation website ...
