Hey guys, website help needed from any of you Internet savvy people!
A couple of weeks ago I launched my third company…. Gigglebox Booths (photo booth hire). We launched it’s website http://www.giggleboxbooths.co.uk
I am not claiming to be any type of SEO expert, however I know a little in regards to titles, descriptions, keyword density, and I have a few useful pluggins that help me along the way too.
I have used these methods on probably 10-15 websites, and for my optimised keywords I have had fast results (usually in the top couple of spaces) within a few days.
We are having real trouble for rankings with this site, and even for fairly long tail keywords that I have optimised for such as “Fun photo booth hire in Essex” we are lucky to be appearing much above the 3rd/4th page…. Often with wedding directories, facebook pages, youtube videos and websites not even related to photo booths ranking higher than us.
It’s a really strange situation, and one I haven’t had before. Was just wondering if any of you had any suggestions?
The only small concern I have come across, one of the free website graders that I use, ranks my website 68/100 (pretty good for a brand new small website) but one of the worries is it says the website currently contains 0 pages. I have actually submitted an XML sitemap to Google Webmaster and it has said it has indexed 23 pages out of 24.
If any of you have any advice/comments I would be very grateful to hear them. Maybe I am just being too impatient but from previous experience I am usually seeing a lot better results by this time.
Thank you,
Gary
