Hi Folks,
Ive had this website for years but never got round to updating it as it had literally thousands of images on. I decided to get onto it last night and now have it looking a bit more how I want and am at the stage I would appreciate any Critique and comments both good and bad on it. be it layout, images, usability, speed, etc... Go for it.

Hi. Nice zenfolio site, looks good. My only comment is that you are far too apologetic about your abilities on the home page. Don't under-sell yourself. Let people decide for themselves! The animal gallery has a mixture of good and mediocre shots (the kitty and parrot shots imho), those mediocre ones detract from the really good ones! The cranes also appear twice. Pity you don't offer a buy on line as well.
 
I have just had a look, when I first looked at some of the images it appeared to take some time to load, but on a second look they became visible quicker.

Just revisited the site, and all images loaded quickly so not to sure what the problem is/was.

Layout looks OK, Camera data is useful, but being able to download the image at 240 pixels/inch could result in you work being used without your knowledge or permission.

Thanks guys, will take your comments on board and do something about the issues this week.

I understand what your saying about the welcome note, suppose I could tone it down a little.
I've considered selling images from time to time, but don't for three reasons.

1) I'm not at all certain my images are good enough to sell.
2) I wouldn't have a clue how much to price them at.
3) I fear that while the contribution to kit and fuel would be very welcome, selling images may stop it being "Fun"

I'm hoping for a little more feedback if anyone with 5 mins is reading this and hasn't taken a look, just so I can create a job list for the site when I get an hour or two spare next week. :)
 
I have just made those changes mentioned so far, thanks for your help so far guys, would appreciate any further input available.
