Hello new here and I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I am looking for some feedback on my website.
The address is www.sixela.co.uk
Thanks in advance.

Hi Alexis.

Just had a quick browse through your website. I think it needs a bit more thought on the layout. Like a bit more structure to it. Also stick a logo on the sites banner, that improves the general look loads rather then text.

Also use hyperlinks for email, rather then writing xxxx[at]xxxx.com

Thanks for looking Jonathan, I'll get to work on a logo!

A couple of things came on my mind.
Using italics for everything means you can't really use it to emphasise something. That could come back at you.
It looks like you have two types of borders there. It makes the page look two-faced.
Do not turn your email into a link. It just makes life easier for e-mail crawlers. It's user friendly, but it could come at a price.
The header seems to be too separated from what's below. If you'd like to use a gradient, I think it would look better if it would start with the colour of the header background.
Don't use a frame to mask the domain name - one middle mouse button click will take that away and some people might start thinking it's a scam site or that it got hacked.
Almost every thumbnail has a different size in your gallery ( http://www1.clikpic.com/sixela/gallery.html ) and titles aren't on one line in a row. That made my eyes seek for gallery titles a bit too much.
The colour scheme isn't very appealing, it looks kind of poisonous.
It would be nice to see what the site is "Powered by" if you have decided to let people know. The same goes for what's after "Designed by".
If the Flash presentation has a different background from the site itself, it might look better if you put a thin frame around it.

There's more, but these are the most apparent things to me.

A few quick comments, it is good to see a Clikpic site, that doesn't look like all the others, have you modified the theme at all? The homepage looks a bit messy on Safari though, with lines/other images overlaying the main image. The powered by and design by bits with blank content, unless you mouse over them doesn't look too good either.

I agree with the comment above about your email address, is it possible to set up an email forwarder with the people you registered your domain with? That way you would have a much more professional looking address displayed and if you get too much spam you can always change it to a different address.

I also agree about the logo, it doesn't need to be anything fancy, it can be just text in a font you like, when you've got that sorted it would probably be worth using that as your watermark too.

Thanks everyone. Not sure I know how to do all of the things suggested but I'll get to work and try some of them. I might be back for some help on specifics!
