I know there are loads of "view my website" posts but I'd be greatful if you would take a minute and have a glance at mine and see what you think. I'm pretty new to web design and have muddled through with the a fair amount of help from Cyk Marcel & Rob Miller in the forum IRC channel, so a big thanks to them.

I personally liked what I saw Dave. Very simple and yet effective.

I see U haven't used clickpic or likes of those.

Did U do it on UR own? What web authoring tool was used?

How did U do the pictures navigation? Did U use Jalbum etc?

Looks good to me. A nice, simple and well laid out start. :thumbs:

One suggestion. The vertical images are too large to view without scrolling or missing your comments below. I have a fairly large monitor and the resolution is set at 1680x1050, so I wouldn't expect to have that problem. With this style of website (images viewed in a slideshow) ideally you don't want people to have to scroll at all. The image, description, and site navigation should all fit on the screen so the viewer doesn't miss anything.

Other than that, very nice.

Nice, simple well layed out site. I personally like the colour scheme as its the same as I used on my site. Some excellent images on there!! I like the sunset on the beach shot with the sea coming in best :thumbs:
 
Looks good. I find text on black hard to read, how about an option to select a colour scheme?
