I've been building my own website using Serif Webplus X6 (idiot proof - no codes needed). It is very much work in progress.

I would really like a password encrypted client viewing gallery. How on earth do people get that on their own sites??

Hi shieldz,
have you tried using Wordpress? It's really easy to password protect a post, which could just be a gallery of the images you want to use:

Otherwise if you have an option to password protect a page using Serif and there's a gallery option that might work.

( I have to admit I'm not familiar with Serif Webplus )

There are a lot of ways to do this.

One quite neat way would involve password protected folders from your web host. Sounds complicated, it's normally dead easy.

You should have a web hosting control panel somewhere with your hosts and that should contain the option to protect a folder.

Then you just bung your gallery page within that folder and bish bash bosh.

Thanks for the advoce so far guys, but after much swearing and cursing, I figured it out....

Hi, I'm currently looking to build a website in wordpress and would also like to have password protected gallery area - if anyone as any ideas how to do it in wordpress and any recommendations on a template, and/or plug in I would be gratefull.

Thanks

This is the first time I've heard about this Serif Webplus, might be worth a look. Do you need your own web hosting for that?
