I've recently done my first paid photography work, wohoo!! So I need to get a website up and running and could do with some advice please.
What I want from it:
Shopping basket
Private log in for customers to look at/order their photos either using passwords or QR codes
Be able to display full images for thumbnails, not just a square box with part of the image
Easy to use
My day job is as a self employed mobile vehicle valet and my website for that is on Wordpress. I'm very pleased with it but had a lot of help from a friend to set it up initially. There are things about it that I find very frustrating eg line spacing and the preview in the editor not showing the same as the actual site so you have to keep updating and refreshing to check your changes. Also it's very code orientated, which I'm not. You can't even change the font.
I have seen Clikpic advertised in Outdoor Photography Magazine which looks good and even done a small trial, although this was a couple of years ago. It does look good but I don't know if it does everything in my list above??
So can anyone, particularly portrait/wedding shooters, recommend a good website building facility that fulfills my list please?
Many thanks, Mike
