Webcast about Canon 600D and Nikon D5100

Well I watched the webcast last night, even though I don't own a Canon 600D and found it quite interesting. :)

It was basically a guide to the 600D, with the odd photography tip thrown in, and for most of the explanation of the menu, a guide to the Canon menu system. I occasionally have to handle Canon cameras, so as I say, found it interesting. :)

It got a bit manic at the end as the chap quickly changed the settings on the camera to demonstrate settings for different types of scene/situation, but also to show how quickly the settings could be changed.

If you have a Nikon camera, I would say it doesn't have to be the D5100, and are not too hot on the menu system, ;) then this is worth a look tonight at 5pm.

I should have put this in the Basics section in hindsight, but hopefully someone will see this and get some use from it.

Do you know if the webcasts are archived or is it live only? would quite like to see the one mentioned.

For the normal weekend webcasts they are repeated till the next day, but are available to purchase later. I'm not sure they are repeating these one day webcasts, but they are available to buy. You normally get a discount on the price of the course if you purchase while it is on live.

All the webcasts are free while viewed live. :)

I missed tonight's one, and was hoping that they would repeat it, but it doesn't look like they are. :(
