So, what web hosting services can people recomend? i'm looking for one that offers unlimited bandwidth (or a high bandwidth) with 3-5gb of webspace...
any help much appreciated,

Use 1and1 and would never recommend it

Try www.arhoster.net, using them just now. So far bullet proof.

I use them for my work's sites and they've gone down badly in the past, been very slow to respond etc. Not great for mission critical stuff

Go and use the American webhosting companies. Loads and Loads more space and speed for less money. I use Lunarpages and they are fantastic. 24 months with unlimited space, email accounts, bandwidth costs about £75

Sorry I was in work and was rushing out while replying. Yes I meant loading times between requests. When you load a page/site in the UK you ping back and forward loading each image, CSS file etc but when the site is in the USA you have further to travel.

Wasnt such an issue in years gone by but with 8/16/22mb internet it starts to show, esp when loading up larger images and such like.
