Any recommendations for email and domain hosting, now that I find my current one (1&1) doesn't support SPF - and that's why my clients aren't receiving my emails in their inbox!

I only found out because some clients said they never received my email and appears it went straight into their junk folder. So god only knows how many have thought how rude I was not to reply! Really annoyed!

What annoyed me even more was their response which basically said "it wont happen to all your emails" that's not the point, 1 email is too many!

thanks

I have a host package with fasthosts that's always seemed to work ok, but currently moving everything over to digital ocean. Digital Ocean offer cheap virtual servers you can configure however you want ( mine is $10 a month )

I have my personal email with fast hosts and find them ok, but email can be up and down a lot so want to have my business email and domain with a totally separate company

Why not look at office 365 if it is for work and you want it to be professional. Gives you exchange for £2.50 a mailbox a month. Tis give you a web based calendar, exchange active sync on all mobile devices.

That is a option high up there tbh, plus it allows me to host my domain too. I've been looking at that all day but wanted to see if I was missing any other options first

I'm using South West Broadband, got nothing but praise for them, cheap, reliable and fast.

As a starter who didn't require too much I can't argue with a no-contract 2.49 a month!

We've got a lot of customers on O365 at the moment, and uptime has not been great over the last couple of weeks to be honest, will be glad when service status is back to green all the way through

Been on 365 for coming up to a year and had no downtime. I am surprised you have downtime. Re you sure they weren't upgraded? Even then we had no downtime.

Downtime has been pretty repetitive since we got upgraded, sharepoint farm issues and all on a not cheap E4 subscription.

Maybe its just the cluster of servers we are based on lol

Anyone on 365, do you have your website and or domain hosted with Microsoft too ?

Website hosted with our own hosts. DNS and email with 365

What's that, I have 1and1 for business emails and haven't had any problems?

Take a look at Vidahost also, not had any issues here with them.

Try sending an email to a hotmail or outlook.com address - more than likely will end up in the junk folder of the recipient

i wish you well trying to keep on the right side of MS, theyve been a nightmare for years.

they once blacklisted our UK ISP SMTP server claiming it was an far eastern spam farm. they refused to hear anything different for weeks.

these days ISP can apply to be added to one of their whitelists.
