Update
seller had electrical work done with cert. which we need to see. Solicitors in their own habitat are by nature slow so minor matters regarding planning consent approval and given the ok by the local council was taking too long (over a week at least). So I short circuited it and rang he council and got a reply in 10 minutes . Told my solicitor and she wondered how I did it so fast, maybe a little brain power and common sense would work.
Been informed the electric in the house has a pass cert and should be in the hands of the sellers solicitor ,again another week of waiting "DUH". So rang the agents to make sure they "the sellers" had the drains pressure cleaned as there was a little water not draining away.
So now instructed the solicitor to draw up contracts ready for exchange and how much poorer she is going to make us. Getting near a*se kicking time if nothing happens soon
