Had this WEBSITE brought to my attention today and having returned from holidaying in the Loire France, you only then realise how over crowded we really are.

I cant recommend it enough, Gites, Caravan or Camping plus photographic breaks available.

As the website says,

We are something like the 52nd most densely populated country in the world, behind Belgium and the Netherlands. Many of the others ahead of us are Islands like us.

However we are only about 7% more populated than Germany.

France just happens to be a fairly lightly populated country, and not a very good comparison.
 
Well, there are 2 more spaces since we left :lol:

We now live in a province 4x larger than the UK, but with only a 1/4 of the population of the UK. Now that's what you call space :p

Compared to some parts of the world that is over populated.

Try Namibia where we were recently, 2 million people in a country whose size is equal to the total of Germany, Italy and the UK.
