Fingers crossed mate.Hospital appointment for my angiogram dropped into the letterbox, 3 weeks on Friday. Hoping they find something and decide to postpone the bypass again, another stent is a much easier recovery.

I can't see us dropping the ball from where we are now.Not much of a gambling man but in an attempt to make the Ryder Cup more interesting, a group of us stuck a fiver each on Europe to retain the Cup, much to the amusement of the other half of the group who thought we were throwing our money away.
HOPEFULLY, I'm not counting my chickens but it looks like I might get a pint out of the bet!
How cool is that.Working the Falklands on my radio. And not just any radio amateur there, but Bob Mcleod (callsign VP8LP). If you can remember back to the invasion, Bob was the guy transmitting that the islands had been invaded, and he was giving out details of the Argetinians were doing until the took his radio.....
I've worked a host of South American countries today, but working Bob was a little bit special.

10 Meters, SSB^^ What band and mode?
I do a lot of FT4, which is really good on 10m. The shorter cycle time is better for Es....That is great, I've not got that far on 10 Meters for a long time. I've worked a lot of South America in the past on PSK and a little on SSB.
Or a pair of "real" 1960s Levis.D30 Ghost knee armour - which will mean nothing to most!
D30 are the people who make (arguably) the best joint armour for bikers and the Ghost range is SO much lighter and less obtrusive than the old stuff that I've taken out of my riding (Kevlar infused) jeans and will be transferring between whichever trousers I'm riding in (depends on temperature and weather). Higher rated than the old stuff too.
The road pizza brigade!I shudder when I see “bikers” wearing t shirt, shorts and flip flops
Ours will need a final cut sometime soon.I cut the lawns today and I'm hoping it's the last time this year. It rained last night and the ground was a bit wet but it didn't end up too bad. There's just the weeding between the block paving and sorting out the pot plants to do now and then we're all set for winter. I was glad to be able to cut the lawns with all the rain we've been having.
When I was young, back in the days when you could ride a 250 on L plates, a lad I knew in my town in Kent was riding his RD250 (bubble tank) over a freshly resurfaced road in shorts, trainers and an open shirt. A year later he was still finding bits of gravel under his skin.So do I!
I'd LOVE to ride when we're on holiday but it's too hot to wear proper kit so we just rent a car. Even decent vented mesh kit is hot at a standstill here in a UK Summer!
While I accept and agree with all the safety comments, there's nothing like riding a bike, without lid or leathers.
