WCMUT....what cheered me up today

I was chatting to a mate of mine (who is far more savvy about the local birds than me!) and apparently someone's seen a small flock of 7 Red Kites near where I saw the pair. Will have to keep my eyes open and maybe a long bridge in the car! (Not going to start leaving the X-T2 and long lens in there...)
 
Getting up at 4.20am, driving from Birmingham to Cardiff city centre. Getting there for 6.50am starting work at 7.00am finishing by 8.10am and arriving back at 10.05am this morning and missing all the no doubt traffic jams later. Happy days

:D No I'm a mastic man, had to seal a refurb of a Yo Sushi restaurant. They are super easy clear silicone to skirting/floor. I charge for a full day so quicker I'm done the better for me, only they want me on site at 6.30am normally so it's an early start/early finish.

Stopped off at a local pond on the way home from my last night shift of my rota and found a dragonfly covered in dew
Hopefully got some good shots too tired to look at them now tho off to bed :D
 
CurrysPCWorld delivering well within the time window they originally gave and phoning 10 minutes before arrival to make sure we were in and ready for the new fridge/freezer. Just need a bigger slot in the kitchen to take it! (New kitchen coming soon, hence the [currently] too big FF - the kitchen will be fitted around it!)
 
My mate has been moved closer to home and hopefully will be out of hospital at the weekend :)
 
So I play the Euro Millions lottery and tonight prize was just under £122million

WCMUT is that a few days ago I asked one of our favourite restaurants when they were going to have my favourite dish as the daily special and they asked me when I'd like it. Cuttlefish with fennel herb, olives and tomato sauce was delicious!
 
WCMUT? well it gave me a good chuckle, at least. 4 lanes approaching a roundabout,
the left lane for turning left, the middle two for straight on, and the outside lane splits into two a little further round ( its a big roundabout) for turning right.
The two cars in front of me ( straight on "2nd" lane). The first of the two makes a dangerous manoeuvre, and switches lanes to the turn right section, nicely cutting up the approaching car!
The second car, the one immediately in front of me, accelerates, and also pulls into the turn right lane, cutting up the car ( not quite as badly) that had already switched lanes.
The car that he cut up got rather upset, flashing lights, leaning on the hooter and waving with one finger out the window.
Obviously its ok for him to do it, but no one else :D

I must have missed that addendum, but then it did happen in Norfolk :D
 
Start training for a new job on Tuesday, although short term it means I'm working 7 days a week whilst I train there on my days off from my current work, it will eventually be a nice normal 9-5 Monday-Friday job with more in my pocket at the end of each month. Not only will there be no more customers to deal with, but I will be working with old colleagues and school friends so I already know half the team!
