No worries, actually there isn't a lot more to do now she free, I'll just continue to man her aka, just get her more steady, get her fit and entered ( 1 st kill) )

As I walked into Tesco express today, wearing my "landfill outfit" top to toe in florescent yellow, two small children with their mum were coming in my direction,
one child exclaimed "what is that?" At the top of his voice !
Mum turned to the small thing and said "its a man"...

I then turned to the child and said, "the Elves don't allow me to wear red, until December".

Mum caught on fast and said Shhhh its Santa in disguise ( white beard and similar build helped me pull this off) checking up ..

I was then followed around the store for the next 5 minutes, by 2 wide eyes and open mouthed kids :D
 
If either of them had misbehaved, you could have had great fun with the "Norty List"!!!

Not sure whether it's cheered me up or heralds the end of a (short!) era but the s***box has gone! After 18 months of serving its purpose as a cheap, semi-disposable runaround, a few gremlins (not to be confused with overworked postiesses!) have started to poke their noses over the parapet and since its most important use was as an early morning mode of transport for Mrs Nod, proper breaking down isn't an option. Today we have been mostly trading it in against a few years newer A class. Consequently, we've spend several hours travelling about 70 miles to see the A class, home to fetch documents etc. for the s***box and then back down in 2 cars to drop the s***box down to the dealer and back in one. At rush hour. Ho. Ho. f*****g. Ho! Could have played musical cars on Friday but that's next month, hence the rush to get it dropped down this afternoon! Picking the A class up on Monday, again to avoid paying a month's tax - it's being valeted and PDI over the next few days. That's me a taxi until then!
 
Running out of Tassimo, and my wife handing over an early Christmas present so that I avoid buying more of it; love the bean to cup machine. Hmmm coffee
 
38 packs of Oh So Fishy Senior cat food appearing. Production has been stopped and stocks are running low. Pet Products R Us in Peterborough managed to get me the aforementioned 38 packs which should give us time to find something suitable that she'll eat!

LOL An iTunes Christmas play list :) and yes by my desktop image good old George was on at the moment. Mariah before him and Kelly Clarkson after him. Kings College Choir was playing downstairs ... and Habberdashers school children just rang the doorbell.

It was magical :)
 
Picking up Mrs Nod's new town mobile - M-B A150 auto. Rather more civilised than the s***box and small enough to find parking spaces that the bigger cars won't fit into. Old enough to have a few little scars so we'll be happy leaving it in supermarket car parks etc..

Oh, and getting home to find the tax refund from the s***box on the mat. Only £43.33 but every little helps. Did the whole "Sold the vehicle" thing online so no Bolshie Welshie could balls it up!

If we're both in the same car, she almost always wants me to drive so no need to increase the life insurance! The multi vehicle insurance policy is a tenner more expensive after the change (just about to be renewed [after doing the usual checks for cheaper and getting a bit of extra discount :)]) - I have a feeling that the premium is actually cheaper but the administration charge has bumped the total up.

This one's actually in her name rather than mine so I might be able to use it as leverage should I want another bike! :D

WCMUT: Beside drinking more of the lovely eightpointnine coffee taster, packing my bags to go to the snow (albeit for work), I had a surprise visit from UPS and kind Mercedes AMG decided to send me a huge calendar for 2017. Ok, I'm not expecting it to excite me as much as a Pirelli Calendar but nevertheless it is a really nice token.
 
WCMUT a nice long walk in the rain with my dog. I just love it so much more when it is wet and windy and nobody but other dog walkers are about. It was lovely.

This is my gorgeous boy, three years ago. Isn't he cute?

It's term of endearment darling. Btw did you know the Hungarian version is so cute I could eat your liver. Now that is a bit strange to me, but I can accept something got lost in translation. :)

I make a great fava - but the Greek one (yellow split peas) rather than Lecter's broad beans. Although since he's Eastern European, he might have meant the split pea purée! Not sure I could (knowingly) eat a puppy though.
