As part of a syndicate at work, we had many wins, some of them resulted in good wins, so much so we were actually in profit. A small profit, but a profit none the less. Other mates in another syndicate won around £70k each in one hit, so they would be hard pushed to be running at a loss.It's easier to keep the money and have it in notes. Then set it on fire. This will save about the same on heating costs as you will earn from playing the lottery
Add to that a lucky dip from last nights lottery.Checking my lottery online, just now, found I had won £3.10 on the Eurolottery last night. Not a lot in itself, it is true, but with just one week to go before we are into September, I have had a win or wins on either my Euro or Lotto numbers, sometimes both, each and every month for over 2yrs. Sure I'm still running at a loss, but not a bad batting average for sure, but one day, one of them could be the biggie.

I just saw they are starting to harvest the hops here now. And it's looking like a bumper crop this year.
Here it's a massive hop growing region. With all the fields of hop vines everywhere, full to bursting. All the farmers are going to be mad busy the next few weeks. And the Oktoberfest is only a month away. Where everyone will be mad busy drinking the beer. They actually transport several tons of hop vines to the Oktoberfest, just for decoration of the tents and horse-drawn beer wagons.
