WCMUT....what cheered me up today

Why would you want to carry a snake at all times? ;) :P

Ordering a cheeseburger and being asked if I wanted cheese in it :LOL: still laughing, girl serving me wasn't with my answer.

and finding out from a TV prog earlier that you tell the sex of a snake with a stick, must remember to carry one at all time ;)
Just ask Chris will show you :p

I meant that you don't have to poke him with a stick :p

What you get up to over coffee and donuts is best kept between you two :LOL::p

Touche. You can join in next time :)

Enough space in our company cafeteria for my lunch. Oh very civilised sitting outside.

JP's a swinger? That explains Chris's interest!!! :P

You got swings and a slide and everything!

Be honest, you're bobbing up and down a little like a kid, aren't you? :D

Modern hightech company ;) You should see the pool parties, but no cameras allowed.

25% poness!

What no lake to sit next. I'd complain. Even at Dagenham, we had a lake.
Good point! But just think about all the flies ;) And no service in the restaurant either, I've got to make my lunch myself :(

Dial-a-curry/pizza!!! :D

I survived the mad axe man. He just attacked and hurt more than 20 people on the train. But 24 hours after I was on it. So not a near death experience for me. But the line is now shut down causing travel chaos.

The police shot him supposedly, but no further details yet.

Edit. The police sent a chopper.

No deliveries where I live. Well not any you'd want to eat.
Today is certainly too hot to cook.
Oh no it was lovely. Got my coal to heat up just before five. Quick end of day call for work. And start grilling at 17:45. It was lovely.

 :p

WCMUT?
Getting a foreign coin in my change, normally this would p*** me off, partly because the shop keeper was dishonest enough to do it, , partly for me not noticing till its too late.

Today however I bought something for less than 2 quid, handed over a £2 coin and got a handful of "silver" back in change.
A quick glance at the change, and one of the "10p pieces" was a 2 Euro coin = a free energy drink plus change :D

What do the news reports out there say about the incident? In the UK it is being reported as an Afghan Refugee who had an ISIS flag in his bedroom. Is that similar to German rapportage?

Wcmut: BBQ for third day in a row today. I'm rapidly becoming the master of the coal. Now where can I find some lobster for tomorrows BBQ.

Any GOOD fishmonger should have one. Probably harder in Northamptonshire than down here...

IIRC the Lidl/Aldi ones are cooked and frozen.

Should have looked it up! ?Bedfordshire?

I'll pop into Aldi and see what they've got. There are no good fishmongers around here unfortunately.

If you lived closer and could wait till Thursday, there's a fishmonger that visits a farm shop I go too for raw milk etc.
He does them both cooked or raw, mind you he also does the biggest prawns I've ever seen, they make tiger prawns look
small

Oh that sounds good. I was looking for some large prawns as well today, but only these little things could be found...

They might be Langoustine. They're huge!

The bigger and fleshier the better. Some hot coals, lots of garlic. Yum yum.

I just cycled home from the Deep Purple concert. It's the first time I've seen them live. What a lovely summers evening.

WCMUT: A break from BBQ today, home made pasta tonight, and life in general :)

Popped into work and I am allowed to go in next week............................................... for 2 hours a day stuck in the callers office
But if all goes well I can go back out the following week

Got to lunch 15 minutes before Mrs Nod arrived so was 1/2 way through my "stinky fish" (calamari - neither stinky nor fish!) before she arrived (she never has a starter.)

Well, yesterday.......
Hand feeding an African elephant. :)
