WCMUT....what cheered me up today

We tend to let the Jaguars eat us - as long as they promise to puke when we get where we're going!

As for eating pu..... No, better not go (down?) there!!!!!!!!!

And WCMUT was the same cat creeping up between Mrs Nod and myself, purring very quietly just (and we're talking a couple of minutes) before Mrs Nod's alarm went off at 05:45 this morning. Much better than her usual marching up along our bodies then punching us in the face (OK, pawing gently but it feels like a punch when it wakes you up!)

The Russians.

WCMUT?

Looking out of my window to see FIFTEEN!!!!!! goldfinches around my feeder! :woot:

Managing to drive from Northampton to Leeds - the furthest my health has allowed me to drive all year - for my sister's 40th birthday celebrations.

The Australians.:D:D

Do you still not see "it"?

Here, perhaps this will help, it's one of the many responses to the tweet:

"Smart woman knows how to enjoy being in the moment not the phone"

:)

Ah yes!
Perhaps I should have clicked the link

I clicked the link but nothing about the picture came up. Do you have to join Twitter to see it?

No, you can browse & search Twitter without signing up. The link I posted takes you to the guy's "timeline" (his tweets & things he's retweeted). Scroll down through his timeline and you'll soon find the tweet with that pic. Once you find it, click on it and you'll see the responses.

I tried that. And "View older posts" several times. But still nothing. Maybe it doesn't show up on the phone.

OK, once you find the tweet with the pic, instead of clicking the pic itself, click just to the left of it (in the space under the guy's avatar pic on that tweet).

Each Twitter client does things slightly differently (I'm using Tweedle for Android edit: correction, I'm now using the official Twitter for Android app) but there should be a way to see the responses, which ever client you use.

No picture showed up. It opened in a browser as I don't have a Twitter app.

It works for me even if I open it using Chrome browser.

Did you scroll down and find the pic?

I'm sure all this is thrilling other readers.

But at least I discovered how to make a screenshot in the process. Press power and Volume - down buttons at the same time.

Undoubtedly. I think we should stop before it gets overwhelming.

WCMUT i bought 3 items that arrived over the last few days :)

Lexar UHS II 16gb card

New trainers in extra wide Fitting with some fancy foam inserts

new 3 legged thing tripod

The Memory cards faulty/fake (amazon purchase), the trainers are 2 sizes to small and the tripod looks like its been handled by a gorrilla.

How has this cheered you up?

Use a postbox instead then!!! ;)

Wcmut my first uber experience. Hailed a taxi in the dry comfort of my office. Arrived when they did. Was able to recognise the car and the driver. They already had my destination preprogrammed. The taxi smelled nice. And I wasn't subjected to lots of racist pub talk by the driver. Oh and I didn't have to worry about cash either.

What a wonderful experience. I can really understand now why black cab drivers are so against it. Uber works, communicates and is part of the 21st century.

So good that I've just requested my next trip :)
