WCMUT....what cheered me up today

Well that's 40 odd seconds of my life I'll never get back
But just think, back then it used to take 10 minutes to download a video that long...

I know its amazing it only took 7.5 minutes

The ongoing saga ... :)

Just change to dial up!
It'd be bloody quicker! And to add insult to injury, open reach / BT have now removed any trace of any date for fibre being connected to my local cabinet!

WALES!!!!!!!:D:D

Well let's face it...it was Spurs so the chances are it was going to go the other way!
Spurs fans celebrate wins as soon as possible.
Luckily it doesn't happen often

3 league wins on the bounce now... so shush :D

WCMUT is the glorious weather we're having. Went out for a bimble to the sea side, wandered up the River Otter and picked a pond or 2 of blackberries, had a light lunch on Budleigh Salterton sea front followed by an ice cream on Exmouth beach. Wish I'd remembered to slap on a coat of factor 30 first - ears are a bit warm!!! Still worth having the roof down though.

Can't beat a good bimble :-)

Well, a gentle mooch comes close!!! 75% of the journey each way is either 30/40 limit of pretty (and) twisty so bimbling/mooching is fast enough. The other 25% or so is dual carriageway so gives the old lady (Mrs Nod's car!) a bit of a chance to blow the cobwebs out but that does pretty drastic things to the (already woeful!) mileage. Top down and a reasonable speed still allows conversation at normal talking volume while letting fresh air (or as fresh as possible on today's roads) in in abundance.

I have an idea for my first photography project. It may even be an art project.

It's a bit meta, and a bit strange, but I'm quite excited. :)

The acquisition of this.
(at well below RRP. Was £9 off in tesco and I got another 10%)
If its as good as the 12 yo, excellent, but I'm hoping it'll be even better.

Makes you deaf though...

Half-two if you're asking

A double since you're offering!

WCMUT was a natural 45 round 9. Adjusted and Stableford scored to 20 points - well chuffed!

Yes yes yes finally fibre broadband is available to order in our village. Largest FTTC package has been ordered. Can't wait :)

WCMUT?......Jelly Tots!

Getting a light in my bathroom after 2 weeks of no light. Getting a shower at 6.30 am was not easy when I couldn't see

Any houses for sale up there?
My cabinet, after 2 years of "baiting" us, is not even on the to do list any more :(

I'm guessing there' a BT engineer on TP who didn't like your moderating :p

Oh yes, there are a few coming on the market. This exchange upgrade will cover Whipsnade, Studham and another village which name has totally slipped my mind and surrounding rural areas. I'll let you know whether it really works as I'm switching from bt to talk talk

Dunno, the amount of crap I've had going on recently, I think one of my past lives is catching up with me :D

I'm switching from bt to talk talk
Erm, OK have you read my thread about the trials and tribulations after Tesco.net was bought out by talk crap talk?
But don't let that put you off, I'm sure they have some happy customers out there

WCMUT: Going to the Loch Ard boathouse this morning and getting a glimpse of the autumn colour. Tomorrow is Loch Achray. I can just make it here and get to work in time, in two weeks I will only be able to do this on days off in the mornings as the sunrise will be later and later meaning a longer wait for golden hour.

Mist, some nice light and reflections. A perfect spot to spend a morning and has made the day just better.

Who doesn't from time to time? :D
I hope you have better luck than me

(Failing that I still have the CEO's email address and a couple of her Lackey's too ;)

I guess it will be one of those cases that if all goes well it will be great, but the moment you drop out of their automated processes God like power won't be able to assist. So far the switching process seems very slick. Got my confirmed installation date. BT automatically send me their "sorry you are leaving and here is all the good stuff you will miss but never used anyway" message. Time will tell.

The smell of freshly baked cake, apple and blackberry crumble, blue sky, purring cat, a good lunch and the thought of a good supper as well!

Getting the garage fairly tidy and finally getting the dexion shelving built which has been lying around for about 2 years. Room for 2 cars in there now :D
