WCMUT....what cheered me up today

WCMUT is our 11 year old cat behaving like a kitten, chasing a pile of Amazon packing paper around, hiding in it and pouncing on our feet when we pass.

Our cat is similar age and does the same, that and goes absolutely bonkers when ever we get back in from the weekly shop, flying around like a lunatic bashing into everything and anything, wife yelling at her to calm down, my boys and I call out Nutter to the cat (not her real name), when she does this and it just seems to make her do it even more, then she lays on the window sill looking like she is getting ready to pounce, call out Nutter again and off she goes, she enjoys herself, my sons and I laugh, but the wife never finds it funny. I wouldn't mind but it's me that has to pay for new curtains after the cat has put a few holes in them. I don't mind, it's good to see the cat having fun.
 
Told work to shove their 6 day week of pathetic spread out hours, joined the RPS and am now on a mission to actually make something of my photography. It's suffered so much this year thanks to stupid shift patterns at work.

Learned that my nephew was selected to represent the state under 17s cricket, and is now representing them in Queensland for a series of tests.

No idea what that means as I've got a cricket bypass, super proud nevertheless. So much hard work and dedication went into that, I do know that much.
 
Going air rifle shooting with my 9 year old & his cub pack! New experience for us both & lovely to see him growing up. Also got to use my new Led Lenser & it's fantastic!
 
Went for a browse on Redsnappers website and found out i had won Photo of the month for July.
 
3 Spitfires and a Hurricane just flew over. No idea why.
I love the sound of Merlin engines!
 
My early birthday present. Watch out Kent, I'm ready, armed and out there today :)

I went to morrisons this morning and the first thing that greets you when you enter is a huge display of mince bleedin' pies!
 
Just cancelled the Direct Debit for my TV licence :) That's £12/month I have extra now :D

If Tesco is anything to go by a few years back, they'll be out of date before Christmas too.
 
Much as I love mince pies, I refuse to buy them when their use by date is before commercialmas. Still got a couple of jars of mincemeat from last year and that's still in date until March '16. Vital ingredient in the Belgian cakes we make and which aren't seasonal at all!

Well let's face it...it was Spurs so the chances are it was going to go the other way!
Spurs fans celebrate wins as soon as possible.
