WCMUT....what cheered me up today

Tonights journey home via M25

Left Datchworth near Stevenage, Herts. at 20.00 back home on the south coast at 21.55! :woot:

Watching sheep sh##!ing on S4C!

(ear, not agg!!!) Only the Welsh. Oh, and New Zealanders!

Wcmut: the friendly nature of airbnb. I love the concept and can't wait to meet these strangers.

Getting my car's air-con regassed just in time for the glorious weather we're having today...

Only used the air con once this year, wonder if we will get another chance to use it ?

Well, it's actually climate control so keeps it at a steady 21° now. Had to wind the windows down once last week!

It's a good idea to run the A/C on a regular basis, keeps the seals lubricated and prevents leeks ...... or does it? Perhaps another conspiracy :)

I agree, and if it is climate control then why bother switching it off manually...

As I said it's only been on probably once this year, so might turn it on again make sure it's still keeping cold :)

But Ilike leeks, especially in a tasty white sauce :)

WCMUT, my eye feeling a bit better, at least the swelling is going down (y)

Despite eating, drinking and eating the occasional sweet (OK, more than occasional but don't tell the diabetic nurse!) as normal, my HbA1c result was well below the level at which they'd even start being a touch concerned about type II. :jaffa: s all round!
:banana::banana:

What's the new car and what was the problem?

What was the cause of the drain?

Aha! Glad they got it sorted for you.

I tend to go to the post office to buy stamps or post a letter or pay my zero tax when I had the prius (now I've actually got to pay something I do it online as it is more convenient and less funny than paying £0 :))

What does a agnostic, dyslexic, insomniac do at night?

Lies there awake wondering if there is a dog
LOL not bad Keith

What is a dyslexic atheist cat's dream?

That there is no dog...

I wanted to move a spare car today as the neighbour was having some major tree work done and the chaps required access to our land typically in the place where I parked the Quattro. Anyway its been there untouched for 1.5 years, a trickle charge would take too long, so out comes the booster pack. Good old Sealey RS125 also hasn't been used in about two years.

First cheer, it still got charge.

So open the bonnet, clear the spiders and tree bits, open the covers behind the firewall where the battery is. Pop the booster pack in the engine bay, ensure it is switched off, pop the red on the positive, and the black on the special terminal. Switch on the booster, lights start flashing and it is a circus inside the car, one click of the ignition, not even throttle or anything and vroom...Yeah second cheer, it's on instantly and running smooth...Nice

Hmm, I fancy cleaning it up now and get it back on the road of SORN.

Third cheer, good neighbour I wouldn't have done this job today if they didn't require access. Better get in touch with JuicyJen for some car detailing gear and get this bad boy running...

Spotting a red squirrel in the small section of woodland near our house. First time i've seen one close to the house.

A nice ride out for no particular reason other than because I could! About an hour of gentle trundling with a few bits of wrist to blow some cobwebs out and make some noise! :D

2nd day of sunshine on the trot and I'm not at work for a change. A good chance to give the psoriasis a good old blast of a few hours sun radiation. clear a lot of it up and relieve the itching. Long may it continue.

Wcmut Facebook. I had a right hard time getting a connector loose on my pedal box to take it out of the car. After an hour I just had to give up. I posted in the appropriate Facebook group to see if anyone had any suggestions and instantly I received a tip. Within seconds I had it off. Brilliant.
