WCMUT....what cheered me up today

POETS day? and its not even Friday? Pah! its all right for some!

WCMUT? Getting back to my favourite burger bar, before he buggered off, like he did yesterday.
You can't beat coffee out of a polystyrene mug and dozens of rashers of crispy bacon in a huge bap.
That was 3 quid well spent
My favourite is a guy called Mick Daugnats ;) got s brilliant van underneath the arches in Vauxhall. Yum. Allthougj tomorrow got to be a indian street cooked kebab from Stratton ground.

For epic burgers (using the Merriam-Websters definition of Epic - "very great or large and usually difficult or impressive"!), try Cap'n Jasper's on Plymouth's Barbican. Unless you're a vegetarian!!! http://www.capn-jaspers.co.uk/menu

A few things. Firstly, waking up in my own bed! Not that the one I was in the night before was uncomfortable, just that it wasn't mine and was bereft of a wife and a cat! Next up was a short letter telling me that my recent MRI scan shows no evidence of recurrent tumour. Not that I was expecting anything else, just that it's always nice to have some reassurance.

That would cheer me up too. Nice one.

Waking up at 5am was a bit of a PITA but WCMU was using the time productively and getting the chosen files for A3+ printing dealt with - generally just a little spot removal but a couple of the aurora shots have had a bit of a levels tweak as well. WRCMU is seeing the prints that have been done so far. No point in posting any on the forums, they're very similar to what others have already posted but if anyone wants to see the prints, they're welcome!

Good roast lunch followed by a trip to the beach for a short walk and an ice cream for pudding. Even sat outside for lunch.

WCMUT? Sure as hell wasn't my golf! Lovely afternoon for a walk though, which DID CMU!

lots of little teeny weeny lambs in the fields :) and bright sunny weather (just hope it holds to the weekend so i can get the camera out)

Bought tubs and plants for my back yard.

All planted up and looking good.

@simon ess

Just remember that lots of plants are not ready to be planted out yet, and need protection from frost for a while yet with gradual hardening off.

...not that the garden centres warn you much!

Eight tiny ducklings and their mum on the small river running through my caravan park.

Lovely!

Cheers - appreciate the heads up. These are shrubs though so all good.(y)

Hood down. V8. Tunnel... ;) :D At 51, I should be able to resist but I didn't!

I took an hour and 45 miles to fill mine up with fuel on Sunday :D The petrol station is a mile away.

45 miles is 3 gallons... I'm glad SHE feeds that cat not me!!! Hopefully the s***box we've just bought will greatly reduce the number of short journeys she does in the guzzler - doesn't do it much good and does the consumption even less good! Even on decent runs I think we'll be doing well to get 20 MPG out of it but it's worth it!

noticing @Yv has something in her signature called the 'filmed flirtations blog' weeeellll heeelloooo ladeeez :naughty:

SUNSHINE!!! :)

The Green Party. Haven't laughed so much in ages listening to theses misguided muppets. Totally clueless. How anyone can seriously consider voting for theses clowns beats me. Very entertaining tho.

WCMUT and in fact all this last week or so, is with all the lovely warm weather the fish in my pond have really come to life and are feeding really well proving to be a great distraction sat down the pond just watching them go about their lives :P

WOT!!! Missed a Photo opportunity, shame on you, expect to see your position up for grabs soon.

Had a tyre going down slowly.

The splendid chaps at KwikFit diagnosed a leaking valve, replaced it and unbent my bent wheel trim.

No charge.

Very happy customer.

Nope no photos but there is videos knocking around of them doing their stuff, but only crappy video from my iPad :P

You could insert any political party name in there...

Steve.

Sunshine and Mrs Nod's just finished work for the day. :) :D

I've been using them for about 4 years or so.

New tyres, an exhaust and MOTs.

They have been brilliant.

Last time I bought tyres from Kwik Fit was because it was a Bank Holiday and they were the only place open. Only tyres they had in the size I required were a budget tyre and cost about £10 each, more than branded tyres at the place I normally go. Didn't last long neither. I've always found Kwik Fit expensive for tyres even when they have a special promotion running.

WCMUEMT was a quick blat down the A380 in Mrs Nod's car with the top down. Even remembered to kick it down just as we went under the A380 just before our destination!!! Just need it to stay clear until the ISS goes over later (IF it's going over this evening!)
