WCMUT....what cheered me up today

Firstly, the credit card machine company finally getting a machine that works to Mrs Nod (only taken 4 main units, 3 extra keypads and about 2 hours on the phone...) To cap the day, (Matt, don't read further!!!) a dial-a-curry for supper.

No need to stop reading, if I wanted on I could just about make on and stay in Atkins but I don't really like curry anyway lol glad the card machines sorted

Nice sunny morning for a trip up to Shepton Malett for the classic bike show. Missed it last year thanks to the DVLA but can get there today. Just need to hear Mrs Nod moving about so I can take brekkie up for us. Have just sent the cat up with instructions...

Well it's a kind of yesterday and very early this morning....firstly a new bit of kit I'd ordered for making a light painting tool up and for testing for incorporating into other tools arrived a lot fast than I expected...so I made a new tool a couple yesterday, and tested it out this morning at about 2 am...got to say it has really impressed me...

Making the cat fall off the bed. :whistling:

Listening to Tony Singh's accent :)
and his mum.

Ha ha, love listening to Tony Singh as well, could almost smell those spices! Curry tomoz :)

WCMUT.... Car passed MOT, no suspension probs, even after a years worth of hard "stage miles" on my farm track :) Good old Toyota.

The really annoying BZZZZT BZZZZT noises the central heating has been doing is now cured. It was the boiler thermostat so I was right :)

Only 3 days to go before I get my living room plastered finally [emoji7]

Sharing chocolates that a dizzy bint had given me for some weird reason. No label on them, just an unsigned card. Mrs Nod enjoyed them (Thornton's caramel filled hearts) as much as I did.

What cheered me up today?

Box of chocolate, £20,
dinner for two, £80,
dozen roses, £100,
being single this year on Valentine’s Day and saving £200,
priceless !!

Do what one of my workmates intended, go out and buy stuff on the way home when they are reduced :D

South West Power and Distribution finally finding the cause of the problem that's been causing power cuts for the past few weeks rather than just resetting the trip switch/replacing the fuse when it's blown. Well, I say finding when I mean they're actually digging up the pavement, hopefully where the problem actually is rather than an exploratory excavation!

My new 50mm equiv. TC for my Fuji X100s arrived about an hour ago. First impressions taking a few random shots around the house.

Oh yes! (y)

Wcmut: how my god like driving skills helped me steer my chariot at 15mph away from sliding towards the central island at a left hand turn this morning.

Stay safe out there people.

It's pancake day! Stuff giving anything up for lent, just gimme the pancakes!!!

WCMUT: My hotel providing not only high speed Internet access, but also my own Apple Airplay TV channel to get my movies to the big screen in the room....Brilliant...

Result!

WCMUT...the arrival of my new fish for my pond as we had very few fish left plus the near completion of remodelling of my upper pond/water garden and water fall...(don't worry not enough new water into the pond to affect the new and existing fish life)....only thing really left is to rearrange all of the rocks for the water fall and some new plants, maybe some additional planting for the ponds also

Really looking forward to lazy evenings watching the fish feed over the Spring, summer and early autumn

Don't get me started on those flipping things, hopefully the net will keep them well out of the reach of any herons
