WBMT.....What baffled me today

Didn't some animated film maker make a film where bulls had udders?

WBMT?
I guess it shouldn't have really ..
I followed an X3 out of a service area, they pulled up next to one of these wide mouth bins with the target inside, so you can throw your rubbish out in comfort.
The passengers arm came out the window with a medium sized bag, they threw it and missed!

They just drove off, but its OK its keeping the plebs in employment. clearing up after them!

I still don't understand how they actually missed at point blank range though!

Was it a woman? ;)

Right arm too tired?

Why did this baffle you? BM owner - nuff said.
We have a council "dump" near us, you are supposed to flatten any cardboard boxes before putting them in the "skip", some people cant be bothered, far too important to waste their time doing menial stuff like comply with instructions when some low paid council workman/workperson can do it for them, usually driving a big SUV too. Ho hum.

Why some moron in a black transit van decides to blast me when I won't give way because he chose to
ignore a lane closure sign and I wouldn't give way to let him push in

Because he is a knob and women should give in to bullying? NOT!!!!

I don't make eye contact at all ... and the more they strop about it the less chance they have of me letting them in. It helps that I drive an old car. :naughty:

He'd come flying up just before his lane was closing and I suppose thought if he just pushed over I would let him in, no chance
it's one of my pet hates especially when the idiots doing that have slowed the traffic down in the first place
Girl power for us ladies some of us can actually drive and don't get intimidated (y)

I'd rather have arsholes like that black transit driver in front of me then hope he comes to grief so I can tell plod he was driving like a ladygarden.

I am currently watching a bloke moving shopping from two trolleys into the boot of an 22yr old Fiesta. No shopping bags, just all the goods. The boot is full after emptying just one trolley and not even a quarter of the other trolley and there is 3 adults and a kid in a child seat in the car. No idea if he will get all of the shopping in the car, but he has been at it for around 20 minutes so far.

He needs to send the other people home in a taxi, and drop the back seat.
I missed the end of the saga as my wife arrived and I had to put her shopping in the boot of our car.
It wasn't just the fact he had to try to fit two trolley loads of shopping into the car, what really baffled me was the lack of shopping bags. I reckon it took the bloke about 1/2hr to load all the individual items into the car and it will take the same amount of time, if not longer, when they get home to unload the car and get it all indoors. I wonder if they have a couple of trolleys at home.

The story in this article about a car submerged by the sea at Blackpool - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-berkshire-51117465

Driving on to a beach can have an unfortunate result at any time but it is beyond me why anyone would drive on to a beach when the forecast was for gale force winds, high tides and torrential rain.

At least the people and their dog were unharmed .

Dave

The same stupidity regularly takes people onto UK mountains when severe weather has been forecast for days..even named Atlantic storms.. They must think they’re immune. Imagine the cost to emergency services involved in rescuing these people whether it be at sea or on mountains...not to mention the risk to themselves.

Not involving inclement weather but this idiot actually got to within 400ft of the summit of Ben Nevis..in a working jacket and boots.

Ben Nevis again but arguably even more stupid.

I know several people who never bother listening to news or weather because it's "boring".
The shorts, T-shirt, and flip-flops brigade love going climbing; watched a youth trying to scale a Welsh sea cliff once wearing those, and slip. He was a right mess; no broken bones, but not much skin left.

WBMT. Many things. On the subject of being baffled.

I'm on some medication which can cause confusion in 1 in 10 people, or something like that.

There are times when saying I'm having a bit of trouble thinking straight would be a rather big understatement. I suppose I could see this as an insight into what other people live with every day.

The doctor didn't warn me about confusion but did mention upset tummy but I think I could eat anti matter without it having an effect.

Don't eat anti-matter. Even if you're okay, it makes a right mess of the toilet.

^There speaks the voice of experience! (If you choose to ignore the advice, FFS DON'T try lighting any resulting farts...)

I was told it takes 40 mins to get to Horsham on a bus, I reckon the one I caught this morning got locked in time, felt more like a year

As I don't have time for photography these days lighting farts is my only hobby.

But then you have to choose between Godox, Elinchrom or simple speedlights...

Why did I await so long to get rid of my Sprint GT1050 for something I can actually enjoy. My biking mojo is back and who would have thought it would have been on a Honda.

WBMT?
Well actually last week now, I just forgot to post it ...
We've all seen these You tube images / short clips of pedestrians waiting by temporary traffic lights, where the sign say's when red light shows wait here
Up until last week I was convinced they were set ups.

I was in a short queue on a red light, with the afore mentioned sign.
An older chap comes striding up the inside ( on a footpath) complete with these ski pole things.
He got to the sign ...
And guess what? .... yes he did stop until the lights turned green :D

Obedience is the basis of all organisation. (y) ;)

Doesn't look like there's any glass in it and they weigh surprisingly little when deglazed. Not saying it's the best idea in the world, just that it's possibly not as crazy as it looks at first sight!

Why the vehicle tax reminder for my car says I need a valid MOT certificate when they are no longer issued and
I haven't needed on for a few years now.
About time they changed it

I have certificates for all my vehicles.

When my car was MOT'd in September I got a certificate.

Dave

Since they switched to the online database system I have still been getting a 'printed out' Certificate from the testing station.

Though a bit like the old TV Licences I did like the old style MoT certs :)

I have 1 ( well 2 ) as well.
Apparently they aren't really required its little more a receipt than anything these days.
But people still like something tangible to hold.
