Ooooh..... saw Metallica at the NEC at the time of the Black album.People that go to a gig and then walk off to the loo as soon as the main act come out on stage. We were at Twickenham Stadium yesterday for Metallica, our seats right above one of the tunnels leading to the pitch and was surprised at the constant flow of people walking in and out. Even more baffling was during the third track, there appeared to be a mass exodus of people leaving the pitch by both tunnels for a couple of minutes before it all settled back down the constant flow of people walking in and out.

I daresay just as awesome last night.Ooooh..... saw Metallica at the NEC at the time of the Black album.
They were awesome.
They didn't even have the excuse of going to the bar last night. There were bars on both sides of the pitch as well as at the back as well as food outlets. There was even an army of vendors walking about the pitch wearing coolbag selling beer and wine. What I was surprised about was selling beer in glass bottles, normally it goes in a plastic cup. The plastic cups from the bars all had the band logo on, so people would just get a refill and take them home at the end of the day, other than the odd accidentally dropped cup, there was hardly any litter left as a result.Went to watch rugby a couple of weeks ago. It amazed me the constant flow of people going back and forth to the bar throughout the game. Was particularly annoying as the wheelchair spaces were at the front of the stand at pitch level which made it very difficult to watch the game with people continously walking across the front of us!

Because they canWhy is it...

Why is it, just before a duel [sic] carriageway ( 70 mph ) become a single carriageway ( 60 mph) does someone always have to do warp factor 9 to get past, only to slow down to
45 - 50 mph once on the single carriageway, I am reliably informed that there are no land mines or bear pits on that stretch of road either![]()
And slow down the dozen or so cars that caught up with it in a very short space of time,It is so he/she can be on the road one whole car in front of where they would have been otherwise.
Why people driving at 40 in a 40mph speed limit find it necessary to slow down to 30mph just
because they have to pass a speed camera, happens every time in one place I drive through

I get that as well only in a 50mph limit!
Don't they realise had they been speeding they would have been caught quite awhile before ( up to a mile away, don't ask me how I know)
Why do people join forums and then go out of their way to be unpleasant?
Baffles me.
There's always the possibility that they are fairly pleasant people but they make statements others disagree with. Many people on forums consider that those who disagree with them are rude because they disagree with them.Because they are unpleasant people,
Mine wasn't plain and it was still revolting.I tried quinoa at the wife's suggestion. Not bad. Plain cooked quinoa doesn't look appetising but add a stock cube and some protein and veg and tastes good. I have it for lunch once or twice a week.

Apart from it baffling me that anyone plays this stupid sodding game, my own inconsistency baffles me. 56 on Monday, 50 on Tuesday and 47 today. Probably back into the 50s on Monday! Stupid f*****g game.![]()
They'll never replace fat-fried chips, or chips from the chip shop, but they make a vague attempt at an alternative when you want chips without the calories.I wondered if oven chips had improved in the 35 years since I last tried them. They haven't.

They work for me (in moderation).they make a vague attempt at an alternative when you want chips without the calories.
